Lukashenko is on an official visit to Kazakhstan on 30-31 May
Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko is on a working visit to Kazakhstan. The head of state will participate in the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. Negotiations will be held in the narrow and expanded formats. The agenda of the meeting includes the issues of deepening of EEU’s economic relations with third countries and major integration associations. Among the important issues for Belarus are the concept of the formation of the EEU common gas and oil market. The participants will also discuss the basic guidelines of EEU’s macroeconomic policy and international activity for the next two years. During the visit, Alexander Lukashenko will meet Nursultan Nazarbayev. The heads of state will discuss topical issues of bilateral relations, cooperation in integration associations.
May 30 is the last day of study for Belarusian school students
Today is the last day of study for Belarusian high school graduates. This year, there are 57 thousands of them in Belarus. The graduates are to pass their first exam - Belarusian or Russian language - this Thursday. Alongside that, the graduates will pass mathematics, history of Belarus and foreign language tests. And after that they will go to the prom. This year, it will be held on 10-11 June. And on 13 June the graduates will apply for admission to various universities.
The Belarusian State Philharmonic celebrates the 260th anniversary of Mozart with the premiere of the opera "Idomeneo"
A big premiere at the Belarusian State Philharmonic. Mozart’s opera "Idomeneo" will be performed at the Belarusian stage for the first time. It is dedicated to the 260th anniversary of the birth of the great composer. The opera itself is also celebrating its anniversary this year - 235 years. It will be performed in Italian at the Belarusian stage. The translation of the plot will be in the booklet. The masterpiece will be performed by representatives of different artist groups.
