President of Belarus signed a decree on protection of children from harmful information
From 0 to 18+. Movies and books in Belarus will be marked. The Presidential decree introduces amendments and addenda to several laws – on children's rights, on advertisement, on mass media and others. An age related category should be marked on the information products. This will help protect children from harmful information – the scenes of violence, erotic, or bad language, promotion of alcohol and smoking. The issues related to age marks will be coordinated by a consultative board at the Government. The law will be introduced since July, 2017.
Belarus and Russia boost cooperation in development of mineral resources
Belarus and Russia will exchange technologies for development of mineral resources. Nature protection ministries of the two countries held a joint sitting in Moscow. One of the main topics is geological research of oil, gas, peat and natural stone. A joint map of the two countries have been compiled. A united system of deposit registration is being fixed. Ecological tourism was also discussed. A new tourist route through bordering reserves and national parks of Belarus and Russia will be worked out.
The topic of the International museum day will be “Cultural landscapes”
“Cultural landscapes” will be the main topic of the International museum day. More than two thousand establishments will open their doors for the art admirers. The best exhibits will be taken out of the repositories. Thematic festivals, open airs and quests will be organized. In Belarus, the Museum night will be traditionally timed to the event. Every establishment chooses its own topic. From Saturday evening to Sunday morning, the museum sites will work in a special mode. Minsk itself will be an art-site. Excursions will be held via cultural and historic places.
