A theft scheme that allowed embezzlement on a completely unprecedented scale  was uncovered in Zaporizhzhya. It is already known that humanitarian aid was stolen from 22 sea containers, 389 railway cars and 220 trucks. It is not even possible to estimate the value of the stolen goods - tens and, quite possibly, hundreds of millions of dollars are in question. The stolen valuables were sold through stores of a large Ukrainian retail network. The participants of this theft scheme were dozens of powerful officials, whose names are not disclosed. Now it is being investigated: did the criminals steal only civilian cargoes or did they also plunder the arms supplies?
