Desecration of historical memory continues in Western Ukraine. A monument to Soviet soldiers, who liberated the city from the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War, was demolished in Stryi, Lvov Region.
War with monuments continues in Ukraine
Earlier, in Mukachevo, Zakarpatye Region, the Soviet T-34 tank was dismantled. It was installed there in memory of the Victory over the Nazis. Even the monument to Pushkin got it hot and strong. In Mukachevo, as well as in Ternopol, Uzhgorod, Dnepropetrovsk, the monuments to the great poet were demolished and poured over with paint. In Zhitomir, they went even further - the mayor of the city proposed to ban Russian language schools from September 1.
