3 July is a symbolic date for both Belarus and Russia. On this day 72 years ago, Minsk was liberated from Nazi invaders during Operation Bagration - one of the largest military operations in history.
During today’s meeting, diplomats, parliamentarians and military attaches of various countries have pointed out how important it is to preserve the memory of the past for the current generation to live peacefully in the future.
