Inauguration of the cathedral capitul took place in the Minsk Cathedral of Blessed Virgin Mary. Its creation was announced in January. The church tradition was revived after almost a century of oblivion. The ceremony was attended by clergymen of the Minsk-Mogilev diocese from different regions of Belarus.
At the inauguration, the priests received a Cross with the image of Archangel Michael, as well as a portrait of the Mother of God of Budslau. The saints are chosen as the guardians of the capitul.
