"Riga and Tallinn may intercept the transit of Belarusian fertilizers from Vilnius," said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania. According to him, such a possibility can't be excluded, as there is no mandatory sanctions regime there. Neither Latvia nor Estonia have disclosed their position on the possibility of transportation of Belaruskali products so far. Meanwhile, Lithuania's Seimas suggests keeping the transit of fertilizers through its territory. This was stated by deputy Gintautas Paluckas. He condemned the proposal of the Ministry of Transport of the country to ban transit of Belarusian goods, calling such a decision an absolutely inadequate response to the current situation.
