Ukrainian landing force of at least 30 boats tried to land in the city of Energodar to seize the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, but its sortie was foiled. Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the "We Together with Russia" movement, told TASS.

Preliminarily, at least three dozen boats tried to land in Energodar. These are special operations forces. They tried  to capture critical facilities including Zaporozhye NPP. There was a fight and the attempt was stopped," he said.

According to Rogov, losses on the part of the AFU are being specified at the moment.

He noted that the landing group was large. The first group, consisting of a dozen boats, left from the southern microdistrict of the Kiev-controlled Zaporozhye. "These ten landing boats were full and went straight down the Dnieper toward Vasilievka, Energodar and Kherson, toward the Kakhovka reservoir," he continued.

The first reports of the landing troops were made by local residents around 07:30 a.m. In addition, according to Rogov, there could have been military equipment on the boats.
