Normandy Four leaders' advisors have met in Paris. A joint communiqué was adopted after 8 hours of talks between Germany, France, Ukraine and Russia. The participants reaffirmed their commitment to the Minsk Agreements and declared their intention to reduce the existing differences in order to move forward.

Dmitry Kozak, deputy head of the Russian Presidential Administration:

We had a difficult conversation, but maybe the first such frank conversation in order to consider all the problems related to the implementation of the Minsk Agreements. The ceasefire in Donbass must be respected regardless of disagreements on other issues.

The next round of talks is scheduled to take place in two weeks in Berlin.
