The unsuccessful struggle of the Baltic countries with migrants comes to the barbed-wire competition. Latvia has problems with wire supply for the fence on the border with Belarus. Riga ordered 111 kilometers of barbed wire from a private company, and received only 12. It turns out that Lithuania managed to intercept the rest. According to the Baltic plan, Riga, as well as Vilnius are going to completely fence off from Belarus by September 1,  next year. In the meantime, they have established a "state of emergency" on the borders.
