The ceasefire under the expected agreement between Israel and Hamas will last four days, TASS reports citing the Israeli army radio "Galei IDF".

According to its information, 50 hostages - children and women - will be released as part of the agreement. It is noted that representatives of the Palestinian movement may request yet to extend the ceasefire under the pretext that not all the minor captives are in one place, writes BelTA.

Earlier, Israeli TV Channel 12 quoted an official as saying that 100 people would be released: first 50 Israeli hostages held in the Gaza Strip, and then another 50, who would be exchanged for the extension of the ceasefire. Al Jazeera TV channel quoted a Hamas official as saying that the terms of the hostage release agreement will be revealed by Qatar in the coming hours.

It was previously reported that Hamas militants are ready to release 50 women and children in the first stage in exchange for a four- or five-day pause in hostilities, the release of about 150 Palestinian children and women from Israeli prisons and the delivery of fuel to Gaza. In addition, the movement expressed readiness to increase the number of prisoners released if it manages to locate them in the Strip during the truce.
