Travelling in the EU is a privilege, not a human right - this democratic joint statement was made by the prime ministers of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland.

Warsaw, following the Baltic States, is closing its borders for Russian citizens from September 19. The ban will apply to holders of Schengen visas, including those issued by other countries.

According to Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu, this is a call to Russian citizens: "Do not come to Estonia with Schengen visas, you are not welcome here. Earlier, the head of the Russian State Duma Committee on Foreign Affairs Leonid Slutsky called such proposals "Nazism in its purest form".
