Russia requests UN Security Council meeting on situation at Zaporizhzhya NPP

Russia has requested that the UN Security Council met on September 6 to discuss the situation at the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant. The topic will be the shelling of the plant by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In particular, it is planned to hear a report by Rafael Grossi, head of the IAEA, on the results of yesterday's visit to Zaporizhzhya NPP. The head of Rosatom delegation and employees of Zaporizhzhya NPP led the agency specialists through the territory of the plant and showed the areas affected by the shelling of Ukrainian troops. According to Grossi, the mission received the key information on the situation at the plant. He also announced that some of the mission specialists  will stay at ZNPP for a more detailed analysis.
