Russia has suspended the grain deal indefinitely. The country's Foreign Ministry specified: the Ukrainian Armed Forces under the cover of a humanitarian corridor created for the export of Ukrainian agricultural products, carried out massive air and sea strikes using drones on the ships and infrastructure of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol.
The terrorist attack undertaken by Kiev has finally undermined faith in international agreements. Earlier, the head of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture stated that EU countries (in particular, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands) received up to 100% of cargoes instead of those in need. Dmitry Patrushev added that Russia is ready to supply up to 500 thousand tons of grain to the poorest countries free of charge, as well as to fully replace Ukrainian resources in the market, selling it at market prices.
The West is afraid of being left without grain. The head of European diplomacy has already called on Russia to cancel its decision. Joe Biden also claims that Moscow had no reason to suspend the deal.
