Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said the Russian leadership is ready for talks on Ukraine, TASS writes. The foreign minister added that Russia will always be ready to listen to what proposals Western partners have to reduce tensions.
"Russia's readiness, including its President, for negotiations on Ukraine remains unchanged. We will always be ready to listen to the proposals to reduce tension our Western partners have, so if we are approached with some realistic proposals based on the principles of equal rights and respect for each other's interests, aimed at finding compromises and balancing the interests of all countries, we will be ready to negotiate, as it always was in the past," stated Sergey Lavrov.
