While the government elite of the West pretend to sincerely help Ukraine, ordinary Europeans are outraged by the infringement of their rights. For example, because of rising prices in stores, Poles have begun to go to shopping centers less often and complain that free delivery of products is organized for Ukrainians.
But, Duda and Marowiecki do not care about the problems of people. The recent demonstration tour to Ukraine is much more important. Learn the author's view on the situation in the report by Anastasia Benedisyuk.
We shared an orange. There are two of us and it is one. “It doesn't matter that it is not mine,” thought President Duda and stretched out for it.
If we continue the parallels, only peel and bones can remain from Ukraine at this rate! The takeover is going too fast.
Duda eats, as you can see from these pictures, greedily... and with pleasure. And Zelensky seems to be happy to give himself in.
This Sunday Duda's tour of the Ukrainian Rada, as Polish publications wrote, was "unplanned", but top-rated. If, of course, we take into account the reaction... of a particular audience.
Moreover, Duda was not required to make loud statements and standing ovations for “May Live Poland!”
May Live Poland
But this is all external, emotional. Even if it characterizes what is happening as a farce. Now let’s go to details. Poland promises that Ukraine will accede to the EU... Someday... And that's the end! And what does he get in return, and now?
Vladimir Zelensky, President of Ukraine:
It does not matter how we spell "will" and "independence," what matters is that Ukrainians and Poles pronounce these words the same way.
Thus, Zelensky justifies the imminent changes in the legal status of Polish citizens in Ukraine. They will be able to work as judges, serve in the army and secretive services, will be allowed (Poles in Ukraine!) to state secrets. This follows from the leaks from Kiev, but the details are still scarce... Political scientists and military analysts agree: in fact, Ukraine is losing its independence. Many people openly talk about a new single state.
Yakov Kedmi, political-military expert, former head of the Israeli secret service:
The question arises, what does the independence of Ukraine mean? Or is Ukraine turning into some kind of appendage of Poland? If a similar law were passed in Belarus, the whole world would be screaming hysterically that the villainous Putin is absorbing Belarus, bringing the Soviet Union back.
And all this is presented as supposedly mutually beneficial. Well, or with no profit at all. They say, no politics and greed. We're brothers!
Yet, the Poles are ready to fraternize only in a certain territory!
Kirill Vyshinsky, journalist, executive director of the international news agency Russia Today:
Poles live with memories of the Crusade, Polish pensioners go to Lvov to look at their real estate. And now there will simply be an opportunity to give it all back, not just to travel around and be nostalgic, but to physically give it all back. If you are equalized in rights with Ukrainians, you then begin to exercise these rights. And you think a step later, not only use it, but abuse it.
And here are the greetings from the Lvov cafe. The menu has already been translated into Polish. I would like to quote one wandering Ukrainian refugee in Poland:
Ukrainian mova (language)! Mova! Mova!
It turns out that they are only willing to defend its interests outside the country.
Like sells the like, as they sell a soulless creature in the trading market. The mercy of a foreign king, and not even a king, but the filthy mercy of the Polish magnate, who beats them in the face with his yellow boot, is dearer to them than any brotherhood.
Although the Poles themselves are more likely to call Duda's activity an amateur activity. Alas, he does not represent the interests of the majority. Otherwise, he would have noticed that when he was in Ukraine on February 23, the day before the start of the special operation, there was a riot in his possessions:
People were not happy about the rise in fertilizers price. “We must protest in order to be reckoned with. The government doesn't want to talk to us,” that's what farmers were chanting back then.
When Duda went to Kiev this time, Polish publications wrote: Poland has problems with the supply of apples.
The Egyptian Central Bank is blocking the conversion of currency to pay for them in order to make it possible to pay for the imports of the grain that has risen in price. Polish gardeners appealed to the Prime Minister of Poland. But he doesn't care about it!
In response to his ranting “got too fat” about Norway and his rebuke of Germany, he received a call from his own citizens, "It's time to resign!" And don’t forget a bottle of sparkling wine!
This is a photo from a Polish store!
There are a lot of streams from there. According to the forecasts, prices will continue to rise. Inflation will not slow down until 2025.
86 zlotys, but we did not buy anything.
By the way, not only the overall check, but also the paper in Poland has risen in price significantly. It's good that there are social networks, or we wouldn't even know how our people live there.
I'm already outraged. I was once accused at the playground for the fact that both I and my child are Belarusians. Nobody cares that I'm also a refugee, but only a Belarusian one.
Or here's another thing — the mother of a Belarusian sounds the alarm. A university student with a peculiar civic position fled to Poland in search of freedom.
He cannot find a job with his Belarusian diploma and knowledge. Please tell me if you can help in terms of connecting a child with some HR plan. He has a Pole's card. We have a Pole's card. He went there with a Pole's card.
In most cases, Belarusians leave without knowledge of Polish. What kind of prestigious job can we talk about? They receive 3-4 thousand zlotys ($900), working 12 hours a day... And then they spend it on health. It's all free in Belarus! In Poland... it may happen that there will be no one to treat people! Residents of Wroclaw complain: they close the maternity ward. Quote: "We are condemned to have our babies delivered by firemen.”
And ordinary Poles now blame Ukrainians for all mortal sins!
Here is how the reality in Poland is described by Mexican-American political expert and journalist Joaquin Flores:
Local doctors don't work as they're supposed to. My mother had to wait several days for a visit, and when she left she was treated very badly as all the doctors' efforts were focused on helping Ukrainians. They can see a doctor at any time and without an appointment, which is why “non-Ukrainians” are furious.
However, not everything is so fantastic for Ukrainians in Poland. Remember — flags on buses, buildings... Free travel. All restrictionsremoved! Here are two “BEFORE” and “AFTER” photos.
A check-taker tried to put a Ukrainian refugee in her place. She refused to pay the fare! What would Zelensky say to Duda?
However, this is what it is fashionable to do today, this is hype. This weekend they will announce another low bow to the Polish landowners.
We make a huge gesture of gratitude to the Poles from the Ukrainians.
This is the same Ukrainian woman who blocked trucks with Belarusian and Russian numbers at the border! And journalist Zhenya Klimakin is next to her! It's his birthday today! And look at the gift. They gave him and the signature is great: “Andrzej, Volodya, I'm touched! You two are edible.”
Happy birthday, colleague, who are you gonna eat???
Why are Duda and Marowiecki more concerned about the recent tour to Ukraine, then about the problems of Poles?
