US Department of Defense controls 336 biolaboratories worldwide

9 марта 2022
The US has confirmed the presence of biological research facilities in Ukraine. Simply put, these are the centers for the development of viruses that are designed to kill. Washington now fears that the accumulated data and developments may fall into the hands of Russia. But this is just the tip of the iceberg. The Americans have set up similar laboratories in other countries.

In her criticism of Moscow, Under Secretary Victoria Nuland mentioned such uninteresting and unimportant to the Western world trivia as U.S. military biolaboratories in Ukraine.

Victoria Nuland, U.S. Undersecretary of State:

“There are biological research facilities in Ukraine, in fact, we're very concerned right now that the Russian military might try to take control of them. So we're working with the Ukrainians to make sure that they can prevent any of this research material from getting into the hands of Russian forces if they get close.”

The Russian Defense Ministry estimates that a Pentagon-led network of more than 30 biological laboratories has been set up in Ukraine.

Zhao Lijian, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman:

“The U.S. military-biological activities in Ukraine are just the tip of the iceberg. The U.S. Department of Defense controls 336 biolaboratories in 30 countries under the pretext of cooperating to reduce biosecurity risks and enhance global public health. 336! For two decades, the U.S. has exceptionally obstructed the creation of a Biological Weapons Convention verification mechanism and refused to verify its biological facilities at home and abroad, which is even more troubling. In doing so, the U.S. always takes a superficial position, and calls all doubts of the international community nothing less than "spreading false information".

The concerns, despite all the US assurances, cannot be called unfounded. Intelligence suggests that lethal bioweapons might have been developed in the laboratories.

Factories of death

Ukraine is not the only country with such facilities. Publications of journalists from Bulgaria, Georgia and a number of other countries regularly resurface. The development and use of biological weapons is strictly forbidden by international conventions, but obviously, not for everyone.

Alexander Petkevich, leading researcher of the Russian Research Center of Epidemiology and Microbiology, candidate of medical sciences:

This is repeated in all countries where, the NATO laboratories are located, they are serviced by American specialists. Although the governments convince us that this belongs solely to the Ministry of Health, it is difficult to verify and prove anything. We don't know, they don't let us in. It's all just a theory. We know, for example, that these laboratories collect local infectious material and transfer it to the United States, where they study it. Any local material from any country is very valuable and can be used to make anything. What vaccines are used in this country? What are the pathogens? The biological material is valuable material that can provide a lot of information. And we know that such work is being done. The material is being taken out. Collections are being taken away. And that worries us. The local population closest to the lab is in danger in the first place. Infections, pathogens easily get across borders. This is threat to the global public.

In the case of Ukraine, the puzzle is slowly coming together. There are some explanations for the unusual outbreaks of atypical diseases in the country. In 2009, 450 people died of hemorrhagic pneumonia in Ternopol. Young people developed lightning-fast pulmonary edema. A person was literally dying within 30 minutes. And in 2011, there was a cholera outbreak in Ukraine that killed 33 people. Military experts say it's all very likely man-made diseases, a tool of great geopolitics.

As the Russian army was approaching, American and Ukrainian scientists began to urgently destroy their joint developments.
