The Collective Security Treaty Organization has completed its mission in Kazakhstan. The withdrawal of the peacekeepers is scheduled to begin today. President Tokayev said it should take no more than 10 days. Meanwhile, Kazakhstan is recovering from the aftermath of the devastating unrest. The situation is stable in Nur-Sultan and 13 other regions. The "red" terrorist threat level has been lifted. Local residents returned to their workplaces, the public transport is running, the gas stations are open. The airport is back in operation. The domestic and international flights today will be carried out from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. The main square of the Republic has been opened for visitors.
At the same time, a "red" level of terrorist danger is preserved in Almaty and some other regions. The detentions of people involved in criminal activities continue. According to the local commandant's office, about two thousand rioters were detained, 38 firearms and almost fifteen hundred rounds of ammunition were seized.
