Minsk is ready to provide all the conditions for a meeting of foreign ministers of "Norman Quartet" if the parties to the negotiation process will agree for such a meeting, announced the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.

Today, the Germany's Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, together with his French counterpart Jean-Marc Ayraul, suggested meeting foreign ministers of Ukraine and Russia in the Belarusian capital. According to Steinmeier, there is a need to negotiate due to deterioration of the situation in Donbass.

Martin Saydik, OSCE special representative in the tripartite contact group: "There remains a tense situation along the line of contact, including numerous violations of existing agreements on ceasefire and withdrawal of heavy weapons. Most of the civilian and military casualties are the result of shelling with heavy weapons. These weapons must not be there."

There remains a problem of water supply in some areas of Lugansk Region. The next meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group is expected to take place in two weeks.
