Demolition of Soviet monuments, renaming of streets and Nazi heroism. The Ukrainian embassy in Tel Aviv demanded that the Prime Minister moved the Victory Day to another date, as a "sign of solidarity" with Kiev. This is reported by Israel Hayom. Israelis themselves were enraged by such a prospect, to put it mildly. Local political analyst Solomon Mann called the request "a major insolence towards Israel". "It seems that Ukraine's next step will be to demand that we celebrated Hitler's or Bandera's birthday instead of Victory Day."
