Lithuania keeps looking for the guilty in continuing the transit of Belaruskali products, but not among the government or ministers: there is not enough political will for that. They blame top managers of Lithuanian enterprises. Yesterday, the head of the Lithuanian Railroads was chosen a scapegoat. Today, the charges were brought against the head of the port of Klaipeda.
The seaport is about to stop the transit. Against this background, the staff reduction has already begun. 20 people have already been dismissed. Some of the Belarusian cargoes failed to reach Klaipeda, and the imposition of sanctions against Belarus interfered with the port’s regular work.
