At night and in the morning of August 11, Ukrainian troops again shelled Energodar and the Zaporizhzhya NPP. They used strike drones and multiple rocket launchers. All the attacks were repelled by Russian air defense systems. A couple of hours ago smoke was spotted over the nuclear power plant. Five strikes  were recorded in the area of the plant's commandant's office. Radicals hit the nuclear facility of the largest nuclear power plant in Europe regularly. In fact, they put a number of states at risk of nuclear contamination. Along with Moscow, the head of the U.N. calls for creating a demilitarized zone around Zaporizhzhia plant.

Ivan Nechaev, deputy director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry:

“In recent days, Ukrainian units shelled the territory of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant Several times, which is an act of nuclear terrorism. Such actions of the Kiev regime may lead to a catastrophe on a scale far exceeding the consequences of the Chernobyl accident. The radiation contamination zone could affect not only the neighboring regions of Ukraine, Russia, the DNR and LNR, but also the territory of European countries, endangering the lives of millions of their inhabitants.

A chemical provocation was also set up in Donetsk. Because of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on a factory, ammonia leaked. A fire broke out. At the time of the attack, there were 32 people at the brewery. One was killed and four were wounded. Residents in neighboring areas were urged to keep protective masks on hand. But the ammonia leak was stopped.
