UN Secretary General: inequality in access to vaccines is a threat to humanity

18 октября 2021

Inequality in the distribution of vaccines can have the most tragic consequences. As the UN Secretary General stated, it would not be possible to achieve a reduction in infections in any country without an equal approach to vaccinations. This will lead to the emergence of new strains of the coronavirus. And the more dangerous strains of Covid, in turn, will cause a greater number of victims, both among the vaccinated people and not. António Guterres believes that governments in rich countries should pay less attention to creating vaccine stocks and more to providing medical care to poor countries.
