Estonia is following in the footsteps of European officials, showing its democracy: the country intends to prohibit the citizens of Russia and Belarus to vote in local elections. Currently, all foreigners with permanent or long-term residence permits in Estonia have such a right. And they are going to take away the vote only from citizens with Belarusian and Russian passports. In case the project is passed, about 10% of voters will be deprived of their rights. Earlier, the Chancellor of Justice stated about unconstitutionality of such a proposal. However, the officials executing the order of Washington don't seem to care about their main law.
