The three Baltic States were almost the first to help the refugees from Ukraine. But in exchange for tolerance to the "Ukrainian victims" Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia signed an appeal to the leadership of the European Union urging to mobilize the financial resources from the EU budget, including a reserve of more than 1 billion euros for solidarity and emergency assistance in such situations. By the way, Lithuania already refuses to accept Ukrainian refugees, saying the centers are overcrowded.
