Qatar to stop supplying gas to Europe if EU imposes price cap on fuel from Russia

Unpleasant news for the West comes from the Middle East. The Qatari authorities have warned the EU that if it imposes price limits on fuel from Russia, Doha will not supply gas to Europe. 

According to the German magazine Spiegel, Germany and other EU countries would like to replace Russian energy resources with supplies from Qatar. Earlier, Gazprom said that the introduction of price ceiling on Russian gas would lead to halting its supplies. At this rate, on the threshold of winter the West can be left without gas: there will be no place to get it from.
