The Polish security forces tried to push the refugees into the territory of Belarus, but people broke through back. A group of refugees was taken by a border guard car to the Polish-Belarusian border. Polish border guards partially dismantled the fence and pushed the refugees over it. Children and women, who needed medical assistance, were among the migrants. Despite appeals from the foreigners to provide them with asylum and help women and children, the Polish security forces restored the fence and indifferently watched what was happening. Such disregard of the refugees’ requests for protection led to desperate people returning to Poland on their own, despite the control of the Polish patrol.
The requests for asylum, as well as the statements of the European Convention on Human Rights, are ignored by the Polish side.
