World to have hard time without dialogue with Russia

The European Commission has reduced the inflation forecast for the Eurozone to a record 7.6%. Economists do not rule out a price hike to 8.4%. At the moment, the main threats to the EU are the possibility of Russian gas being cut off and the resumption of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Paolo Gentiloni, EU Commissioner for Economy:

A serious scenario of interruption of Russian gas supplies can no longer be ruled out. It will lead to a recession in the EU in the second half of this year and a further slowdown in all economic activity next year.

And this is the forecast from Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. "If the leaders of the collective West continue economic pressure on Russia instead of listening to Vladimir Putin's proposals, all hell will break loose in the world."
