Belarusian peacekeepers return home from Kazakhstan

The Belarusian units from the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), who were on duty to protect socially important facilities in Kazakhstan, are returning home. The aircrafts with our soldiers has already left for the Minsk Region. This was reported by the Defense Ministry of Russia.

The antiterrorist operation is declared over in the most part of Kazakhstan. At the same time, the red level alerts is still  preserved in Almaty and some other regions. Nur-Sultan is under a two-week orange level alert. In general, the situation is stable, trade companies are operating, public utilities are functioning in a normal way, and the schedule of traffic on the roads and railroads has been restored. After the riots in Almaty, the General Prosecutor's Office opened 494 criminal cases. In addition, almost 7 thousand protocols were drawn up for offenses committed during the state of emergency, about 5 thousand people were brought to various kinds of administrative responsibility.
