RIA Novosti has calculated and found that last year Russia ranked tenth among the world's largest exporters.
In 2022, Russia managed to increase merchandise exports to $591.5 billion, moving up two positions on the list. China ($3.6 trillion) remained the largest commodity exporter, followed by the US ($2.1 trillion) and Germany ($1.7 trillion). The Netherlands, which supplied $760.6 billion worth of products to global markets, rose from fifth to fourth place, displacing Japan, which supplied an estimated $747.6 billion.
