The Historical Museum of Belarus hosts the Belarusian chess championship. The tournament is accompanied by a thematic exhibition with art objects related to chess.
At the opening ceremony, the draw among the participants of the Championship was held for men and women teams.
In Belarus, the unity of intellectual sport and art takes place for the first time. Similar chess championships took place in the French Louvre and in the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg.
The National History Museum of Belarus championship will be held every day until January 28.
