Eighth medal of Belarus at Winter Paralympics claimed by Dmitry Loban

The Belarusian athlete Dmitry Loban became the silver medalist of the Paralympic Games in PyeongChang. For Dmitry Loban, this is the second silver award of the Paralympics.

Also today, in the women’s team, Lyudmila Volchiok, Lidia Grafeeva, and Valentina Shyts will compete in the same discipline. In the 1.5km race, Belarus will be represented by Larisa Vorona and Darya Fedkovich. Among athletes with visual impairment, Yuri Golub, who won gold the day before, and Nikita Ladesov will compete today as well. As part of the women's team in this discipline, the champion of PyeongChang – Svetlana Sakhonenko – and Yadviga Skorobogataya will perform.
