Victoria Azarenko paired with Australian Ashley Barty makes it to the quarter-finals of WTA tournament in Toronto

At 1/8-finals the  international tandem defeates German Julia Gorges and the Czech Carolina Pliskova 6:1, 6:3. For  entering the semi-finals of the competition,  the girls will compete against the duo of Kirsten Flipkens / Xiè Shúwéi.
