Athletes from three countries: Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan - will be competing for awards for 4 days. Among them are the winners of Olympic Games and World Championships.
The Eastern European Cup stage is held in Raubichi for the fourth time. About two hundred skiers from Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan have gathered here including medalist of the Olympic Games in Vancouver, Alexander Panzhinsky.
A s a result, the first race at the Cup was won by the Belarusian Anastasia Kirillova. Alexander Voronov showed the best result among our men and got silver.
For the sport complex, the current competition is a test before saturated February. The European Biathlon Championship, the Race of Legends with Darya Domracheva and the Freestyle World Cup will be held in Raubichi from February 18 to 24.
The organizers will install 2 additional stands by February. One of them will for 750 seats, the other one for 1200 spectators. In total, Raubichi will be able to accept 6 thousand fans let alone fans standing along the route. At this stage the entry for the audience free.
Tomorrow the competition will continue with individual races in classic style. Women will perform at 5 kilometers and men at 10 kilometers. On Saturday there will be a pause in the stage of the East European Cup. On Sunday free style individual races will be held. The start is at 11.00
