The 2nd European Games will be held in Belarus. It's time for the fans to take part in a musical competition. In Minsk, a contest for the best song of the opening and closing ceremonies was re-opened. The first contest took place from August to December and did not bring results. The compositions presented did not meet the stated criteria. That is why the musical contest was resumed. Applications are accepted until May 15 from both Belarusian and foreign authors.
Tatyana Parhamovich , deputy head of the Department of Arts of the Ministry of Culture of Belarus: "The jury is waiting for the participation of professional composers, the jury is waiting for the participation of young musicians, those who have creative thinking. This may be a patriotic song, it can be a sports song, but the most important thing is high artistic content".
Within the framework of the 2nd European Games the "torch of peace" will be lit in Rome at the headquarters of the Olympic committees, and then delivered to Belarus. The Olympic flame in our country will burn for 100 days, and on June 21 it will be lit at Dinamo stadium.
