It was stated by Head of BRYU Igor Buzovsky. It appears to him that cyber competitions are not just entertainment, it is already real sports, and for many gamers it is a real profession. And it is no mere chance this year the known international cyber tournament TechLabs Cup will take place with the assistance of the Belarusian Youth Union.

The TechLabs Cup International Cyber Festival appeared in Minsk 5 years ago. Today it brings together the best gamers of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
This year's conmetition will include such known computer games as Counter-Strike, StarCraft, Shadow Company and the Belarusian best-seller World of Tanks. The individual discipline is an overclocking specially for experimenters on maximum capabilities of computer systems as well as competitions on radio-controlled models.
Any gamer will be able to take part in the festival without leaving his house. Qualifying tournaments will be held online. The first competition will take place on April 27. The final fight for the rank of the best cyber athlete and overclocker of the country will take place on May 18 at one of the largest shopping centers of Minsk. The winners will receive the permit to the Grand Final of the CIS countries which will be hosted by Belarus this fall.
During the press conference in Minsk another it was stated that a computer sports federation can be created in Belarus. This year the cyber festival will take place with the assistance of the Belarusian Youth Union.
