Ole Einar Björndalen, Halvard Hanevold, Lars Berger, Simone Hauswald, of course, Daria Domracheva and Nadezhda Scardino went back to the start. The grand event was the final chord of the "race of legends", their farewell to big sport. The relay of the race of legends preceded the European Biathlon Championship and the World Cup in freestyle.
Among the invited guests there were representatives of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, the National Olympic Committee, the Presidential Sports Club, coaches, relatives and friends. Our Olympic champions, with tears in their eyes, thanked everyone who was there throughout their careers, who always believed and supported them.
Andrei Derizemlya from Ukraine won the men's start, the second was Ole Einar Berndalen and Belarusian Sergei Novikov finished third.
In the mixed relay Dasha and Nadia were the first to come to the finish, Björndalen and Novikov supported their halves. The last shooting turned out unsuccessful for great Norwegian: three misses, and Sergei Novikov held the first place.
