Winners of Track Cycling World Cup in Minsk announced

Competition for medals in the Track Cycling World Cup started today at Minsk Velodrome. The winners of 2 in 7 disciplines became known.
The evening session began with the opening ceremony of the competition, in which music bands, acrobats performed and flags of each country were presented.
Belarusian athletes reached the final. According to the results of the morning qualification Raman Ramanov and Gordey Tishchenko made it to the finals in the men's race. The athletes had to overcome 40 kilometers. As a result, Raman Ramanov finished the 6th, Gordey Tishchenko became the 16th. The winner of the World Cup is Mark Stewart.
The women's race starts at 19:27. Tatiana Sharakova, a silver medalist in this discipline of the European Championship, will perform. The broadcast of the evening session will begin on Belarus 5 at 19:15.
