After five days of the Championships, the unofficial medal standings are headed by the Russians with 8 awards, including three gold medals. Norway and Austria occupy the 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
Two relay races are scheduled to be held at the Biathlon Junior World Championships today. The girls race at 10:00 will feature Darya Blashko, Dinara Alimbekova and Anna Sola of Belarus’ national team. Pavel Poplavsky, Igor Karpuk and Roman Shinkevich will be competing for medals in the boys race at 13:30. Both races will be broadcast live on Belarus 5.
