Next week TV News Agency launches new project The Olympic Visa

The 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea, kicks off in just a month. As of now, the national team of Belarus has 24 licenses, and this number is expected to increase.

In his interview for the TV News Agency, Alexander Baraulia, the head of the Belarusian team, noted that the exact number of Olympic licenses will be known by late January. Belarusian fans will traditionally expect victories from our biathletes and freestyle skiers.

Also, following the decision of the International Olympic Committee, after the disqualification of Russian skiers, the bronze medal in the ski races at the 2014 Sochi Olympics will go to the Belarusian cross country skier Sergei Dolidovich.

Meanwhile, the Olympic facilities in PyeongChang are already waiting for the athletes. As early as 100 days before the start of the Winter Olympics, the organizing committee declared that they are fully ready to host the Games.

The Olympics in South Korea will open on 9 February. Ahead of the main sports event of the season, the TV News Agency launches a new project – The Olympic Visa. Starting next Monday, TV Channel Belarus 1 will air exclusive interviews with future participants of the Olympics in South Korea, as well as brief reports about the kinds of sports at the Olympics and their history, as well as everything fans will need to know about the 2018 Games.
