By Andrei Kozlov: Yesterday, the best footballer of the 20th century – the legendary Diego Maradona arrived in Belarus. In accordance with his contract, Diego Maradona assumes the post of Chairman of the Board of the club Dynamo Brest right after the FIFA World Cup.
Right from the get-go, Maradona went to the club’s stadium to watch the match Dynamo Brest vs. Soligorsk Shakhter. Despite their defeat, the Dynamo Brest players were united, and it looks like Maradona will inspire everyone here to improve on. A new era is starting in Brest and in Belarusian football.
