The Christmas tournament of hockey fans for the prize of the President of Belarus or the unofficial World Amateur Championship continues to gather friends and competitors. Teams from the UAE, Germany, the Czech Republic, Finland, China, Slovakia, Switzerland are coming to Minsk. There are 26 people in the Swiss delegation. They will play in the tournament for the 12th time, the best achievement for Switzerland was the 4th place in 2010.
It is the Swiss who will play in the first match of the 15th Christmas tournament. They will hold a match against Slovakia tomorrow at 12:30 in the small Chizhovka arena. The big arena will host the game between the teams of the United Arab Emirates and Balkans. After the opening ceremony, the Finns will play with the Germans. At 19:00 the current winner of the tournament, the national team of Belarus, will meet with the team of the international hockey federation. In parallel with the Christmas tournament, the final Republican Golden Puck competitions in the older age group will be held.
