By Elena Gorelchik: A match between Belarus and Slovakia at Chizhovka Arena ended in favour of the tournament hosts with a score of 4:3. The Belarusians and Slovaks fought in Group A. Group B saw a match Sweden and Finland, ending in favour of the latter, 10-1. The United Arab Emirates’ team lost to the Swiss, 6-9.
Tomorrow will see final group matches. The Slovaks are to face the Swiss at 14:00, while the Germans will be playing against the Swedes. At 19:00, the Belarusians will hit the ice in a match against the UAE, and the Russians will meet with the Finns.
Also tomorrow, the tournament participants will traditionally visit the Radoshkovichi boarding school to bring gifts for children left without parental care.
