Raubichi is ready to host the Race of Legends and the European Biathlon Championship. This was announced today by director of the sports complex Alexander Gagiyev. The festival will be held on Monday, February 18. 20 famous biathletes will take part in the competitions.
Daria Domracheva and Ole Einar Bjoerndalen, Halvard Hanevold and Florence Baverel, Frode Andresen and Simone Hauswald are among them. After the Race of Legends, the prize-winners of the republican competitions among children and teenagers in biathlon for the prizes of the presidential sports club Snow Sniper will be awarded.
After the festival, the European Biathlon Championship starts. In case of thaw, 3 tons of nitrate have already been purchased. Participants of the European Forum will begin training in Raubichi on Sunday.
The European Biathlon Championship opens with individual races for men and women. On Wednesday, February 20, the Belarusian team will be represented by Irina Krivko, Dinara Alimbekova, Elena and Irina Kruchinkina, Sergey Bocharnikov, Roman Yeletnov, Anton Smolsky and Nikita Lobastov.
