Christmas week in our country was rich in good and significant traditions. The Head of State personally presented For Spiritual Revival awards to cultural and art workers and representatives of Belarusian Sports Olympus.

The New Testament published by the Belarusian Orthodox Church is the result of 25 years of work of philologists and theologians. This is the first canonical text of the Gospel in the Belarusian language.

The author's collective of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus was awarded with a high award. The prize was awarded to them for outstanding achievements in the field of pop art and last year’s concert series We Are Together dedicated to the Year of Small Motherland.

By tradition, the award also finds those who know the true value of hard training on the way to victory. Olga Mazurenok in August won the gold at the marathon. The race was held in Berlin as part of the European Championships in athletics. Mazurenok ran the distance during 2 hours 26 minutes 22 seconds. During 7 out of of 40 km, Olga had heavy bleeding. She didn’t stop, continued the struggle, pulled ahead and was the first to cross the finish line. Olga's example inspires millions. The pride of the country and the real heroine is the winner of the Belarusian Sports Olympus.

Priests and teachers, representatives of charitable organizations have devoted themselves to help those, who need it. It is no coincidence that on Christmas time, the state notes the merits of those for whom dedication has always been a priority. Recognition and gratitude will be the best motivation to achieve new results.
