Belarusian Darya Blashko won the Under 19 Girls 6km sprint, becoming world champion with a result of 16 minutes 26 seconds. Silver and bronze went to Austria and Norway respectively.
Another Belarusian, Dinara Alimbekova, was just one step away from the podium. Anna Sola finished 5th, and Kristina Mazurina took the 25th place.
The sprint race among boys will be broadcast live on Belarus 5 at 13:30.
