By Andrei Ivanov: Young biathlete Darya Blashko was congratulated by President Alexander Lukashenko, who wished her further success in her sports career, and received flowers and warm words from Sports Minister Alexander Shamko.
Following sprint results, another two Belarusians - Dinara Alimbekova and Anna Sola - entered the top five. Given that the next competition is the pursuit, the biathletes’ chances of getting on the podium again are quite high. According to coach Vladimir Makhlaev, Blashko, Alimbekova and Sola are very strong and capable girls.
