Minsk hosts European Figure Skating Championship

Fr om today Belarus is the center of figure skating in Europe. One of the main top tournaments is held in Minsk for the first time. The best skaters of the continent, including the Olympic champions, come to us.


Yulia Komleva, Chairman of the Belarusian Skating Union: "Our Belarusian audience, first of all, will be able to see professional figure skating live. This is the most important thing. In April, on the inspection visit, the main official hotels were identified, wh ere the delegation and the participants and judges would live. And all these hotels are located as close as possible to the Minsk Arena to create maximum comfort for participants".

Minsk is ready for the forum by100 percent. There is even a cultural program for guests.


Alexander Morozov, member of the organizing committee of the European championship in figure skating 2019: "Many of the participants and coaches, and there will be, including great coaches, will be for the first time in Belarus. A full house is expected in the arena, at least during a gala performance. Fans of this beautiful sport from all over the world come to us.


Belarus at the European Championships in ice dancing will be represented by Anna Kublikova and Yuri Gulitsky.
