An important component of the organization of world-class competitions is the transportation of fans and sportsmen. Presumably, tens of thousands of tourists and at least 10,000 athletes, judges, journalists, official representatives of the Olympic committees will arrive in Minsk in June 2019. The main gateway for the guests is not only the airport, but also the railway station.
So, new escalators have recently appeared in the station building, the cash registers are equipped with an improved air conditioning system, what passengers will especially appreciate in the summer. Great attention is paid to the safety of the guests of the Euro Games. Thus, the system of video surveillance and access to office premises will be improved. And the cashiers and the room attendants will attend express English courses.
Even before the start of the Euro Games, the Internet will appear in the metro and buses. First the modems will be installed on three routes - "1", "100" and "300-E", which connects Minsk with the airport. In the metro, access to the Internet will be both on the platforms and in underground tunnels.
The colorful bus has already started to run on route number 1. The official symbols of the games are the slogan "Time of bright victories", the stylized "BY" logo.
A lot of work will be done to improve the road infrastructure of Minsk. By the beginning of the second European games, the capacity of the main avenues will be increased by optimizing traffic lights and redistributing machine flows along parallel streets.
