9 medals (including 4 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze). The lion's share of the awards, 7, were taken by our athletes. In the final day of the continental forum a real feat was performed by Olga Mazurenok. On the way to the title of European Champion our marathon overcame strong nose bleeding. After the "golden finish" the social media literally blew up with messages and words admiration of the strength of spirit and the will to win demonstrated by our Olga.
Together with other girls of our team, Marina Domantsevich, Anastasia Ivanova and Nina Savina, Olga won the marathon cup.
2 meters 33 centimeters is the repetition of a personal record, and in fact during the final Maxim Nedosekov took a risk. His last attempt to take the height was moved three centimeters higher. The youngest of the finalists ended up winning the silver, which in this case certainly has a golden ebb.
Decathlete Vitaly Zhuk took the bronze. And this is the first medal won by the athlete at international competitions. In addition, Alena Dubitskaya and Dmitry Dyubin became bronze medalists of the continental tournament as part of our team. These athletes have already returned home.
And certainly for a long time Elvira German could not come to herself after the finish in the barrier run. It was the debut adult European championship for the sportswoman.
